I am writing to you to express my deep concern about companies racing to create artificial superintelligence. I believe that super-intelligence would be qualitatively different from today's AI and that it would endanger us all. I urge you to announce that you would support an international agreement banning the development of superintelligence around the world. Thank you for your time and attention to this critical issue. I look forward to your response and to seeing your leadership on preventing the creation of superintelligence.
