Our president's elective war in Iran is one of the biggest unforced errors in our country's history. Sure, we've greatly weakened Iran's military capabilities, but we've always been good at bombing things. We're not so good in setting up new regimes, and we're failing at that again.
President Trump is already urging, even begging, other countries to come to our aid in the Strait of Hormuz. In his typical fashion, he acted on his emotions without considering the long term consequences. No country has volunteered to help because they recognize unwinnable situations. The United States in now bogged down in the Middle East for God knows how long. It's as if he didn't learn anything from our recent excursions into Iraq and Afghanistan.
Mr. Trump even said, "You could make the case that maybe we shouldn't even be there at all because we don't need it." Most of the country made the case that we shouldn't be there at all before he started dropping bombs. We're there only because he makes bad decision based on his emotions at any given moment, and this one has cost us at least $16 Billion and 13 lives. So far.
And now he's talking about invading Cuba. The man just doesn't learn.
Impeach him. Immediately.
