I am writing to express my complete outrage and opposition to the unconstitutional idea floated by Stephen Miller in the White House about the potential suspension of habeas corpus. Suspending habeas corpus without due cause is not only unconstitutional, but also un-American, and a direct attack on our civil liberties and democratic principles. Such rhetoric should be condemned immediately and forcefully. I urge you to publicly oppose any such move, call it out as the dangerous authoritarianism it is and ensure our government upholds the Constitution.
