It's been a week since my sexual assault, and I find it infuriating and insulting that Congress continues to focus on feel-good surveillance bills like KOSA, ENFORCE, SCREEN, IODA and the Sunset 230 Act. None of these acts would stop my assaulter from perpetrating the same act again on someone else. While disastrous bills like FOSTA and SESTA become law, victims continue to suffer from the aftermath. Rand Paul's about-face on Section 230 is childish. At least he can go to court and sue the person who made that video about him. I have a harder time getting legal help for my own situation. I would not be in this situation if more resources were actually put into helping victims instead of censorious and surveillance-state bills like these. Enough is enough. Vote against these bills or I will vote against you.
