I am writing to urge you to support the UAP Disclosure Act and ensure that its provisions remain in the FY2027 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). Whatever these unexplained phenomena ultimately turn out to be, the American public deserves to know what our government has investigated, what it has learned, and what information it continues to withhold. For decades, UAP-related information has been surrounded by secrecy and conflicting accounts, leaving the public with more questions than answers. This is not about asking Congress to declare that extraterrestrial life exists. It is about basic government transparency. The UAP Disclosure Act would create an independent process to identify, preserve, review, and ultimately release government records concerning UAPs, while still protecting information that genuinely poses a national-security risk. When the government refuses to provide credible answers, people naturally fill the information vacuum with their own explanations. Greater transparency would help separate legitimate unanswered questions from speculation and conspiracy theories. Americans should not have to rely on rumors, leaks, or guesswork to understand what their own government knows. Please support the UAP Disclosure Act and work to keep it in the FY2027 NDAA. The American people deserve answers, transparency, and accountability—not decades of secrecy.
