Checks, balances, and the rule of law are the foundations of our republic. I urge you to use your full congressional authority to actively block any efforts to consolidate executive power, ignore judicial rulings, or bypass Congress. If we allow a leader to rule unchecked, we pave the way for tyranny. Please stand on the right side of history, honor your oath to the Constitution, and protect American democracy from the threat of dictatorship. I look forward to your prompt action and response.
