write I'm writing you in solidarity with the people of Minnesota as they approach a Statewide Day of Truth and Freedom on Friday, January 23rd. People all across the state are staying home from work and school to stand against the federal occupation of Minnesota. Federal immigration agents are trampling on the Constitutional rights of people.
The federal government of the United States has decided that the free people of Minnesota are enemies to be subjugated. They have deployed agents with guns and lethal force to harass, intimidate and terrorize children, families, businesses and workers. The federal government is withholding and weaponizing federal funding for small businesses, food assistance, education and childcare to ensure our compliance. The federal government has used official channels to spread distortions and lies about American citizens and our neighbors, seeking to turn us into enemies who deserve violence and punishment. The federal government has explicitly emboldened and celebrated provocateurs and grifters who sow seeds of insidious lies and hate toward the people of Minnesota and our leaders, explicitly inviting division and political violence. The federal government is advancing an unlawful and unconstitutional siege on their own citizens and people.
This must stop. It cannot be allowed to stand. I demand you take action to support the following three steps:
1) ICE must leave Minnesota now.
2) Each death that has occurred by ICE officers or while in the custody of ICE must be investigated by a third party. Those found responsible must be held legally accountable.
3) No additional federal funding for ICE in the upcoming Congressional budget.
4) ICE should be investigated for human and Constitutional violations of Americans and our neighbors, and their operations must cease during these investigations. congress helo
