Take swift action to block ICE's $2 million contract for Graphite spyware.

To: Sen. Murray, Rep. Jayapal, Sen. Cantwell

From: A constituent in Seattle, WA

Please take immediate action to do whatever you can to block ICE's $2 million contract for Graphite spyware from Paragon Solutions. This powerful hacking tool, capable of infiltrating any mobile phone and encrypted applications like WhatsApp and Signal, represents a grave threat to civil liberties and undermines the foundations of digital privacy that protect the privacy rights of innocent Americans. It is also deeply concerning, given ICE's history of alleged rights violations. The agency's access to such invasive technology poses an unacceptable risk of abuse and overreach. Furthermore, relying on foreign-made spyware introduces significant counterintelligence risks that cannot be ignored. Congress must exercise its oversight authority to prevent this expansion of government surveillance. Please act swiftly to block this contract. Do not let the United States take another step towards becoming a Big Brother state.
