To: Sen. Blackburn, Sen. Hagerty, Rep. Rose

November 7

The sweeping changes proposed in Project 2025 raise significant concerns and threaten to undermine key institutions and programs that provide vital services to millions of Americans. I urge you to reject any attempt to implement policies from this deeply ideological blueprint that seeks to dismantle the federal government's role areas like education, health care, social welfare, climate action, and more. Proposals to abolish the Department of Education, slash funding Medicaid nutrition assistance, and eliminate agencies focused on clean energy and environmental protection would be devastating for our communities. The plan's extreme stances on issues abortion, immigration, and LGBTO+ rights also run counter to the values of an inclusive society. While fiscal responsibility important, the indiscriminate cuts and privatization measures lined Project 2025 seem aimed at dismantling. social safety net rather than promoting true efficiency. We should pursue balanced, evidence-based reforms that protect vulnerable populations and uphold our nation's progress civil rights. I ask that you firmly oppose any legislation derived from Project 2025 and instead work on bipartisan solutions improve people's lives while preserving our democratic institutions and adherence to constitutional principles. The American people deserve better than this extreme agenda that benefits few at the expense of many.
