Absolute safeguard against accidental releasing of nuclear waste stored at San Onofre is an imperative. If there should be an accident there, it would make California and nearby States uninhabitable for eons. Although this nuclear plant is closed, nuclear waste is stored there because there are no other locations willing to take on the storage of nuclear waste. There must be a constant scrutinizing of nuclear storage at San Onofre, and a storage place far from civilization should be located and utilized. This is not a danger to look away from. We must never let an accident occur here.
