I urge you to oppose Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries in the upcoming Democratic leadership elections. Tuesday's results were a win for the party, but voters didn't hand Democrats both chambers so Washington could go back to business as usual. They want leaders who will fight, not fold, and who represent the next generation of the party. Schumer has led Senate Democrats since 2017 and has given ground too often at critical moments. Jeffries has been too cautious in confronting this administration. A new majority deserves new leadership. Please use your vote and your voice to back new leaders for the next Congress, and tell your constituents publicly where you stand.
