You’re not fooling anyone. The Republicans own this shutdown. You’re trying to take away the health insurance tax credits from hundreds of thousands of Americans, and the Democrats are standing up for the people. They aren’t going to vote for your so-called “clean” continuing resolution because you Republicans can’t be trusted: you’ve broke your word once too often. It’s time to come to the negotiating table and make some concessions. Nobody is on your side in this.
