I’m writing to express my deep concern regarding the so-called “SAVE Act.” While it’s being framed as an effort to secure our elections, in reality, it is a dangerous attempt at voter suppression that threatens to disenfranchise millions of eligible Americans—including women, people of color, young voters, and even active-duty military service members.
This legislation is not about protecting the integrity of our elections—it’s about creating unnecessary barriers to the ballot box. These tactics echo the long and painful history of voter suppression in this country, and I am alarmed to see such measures being pushed in 2025.
I urge you to strongly oppose the SAVE Act and any other legislation that aims to restrict access to the fundamental right to vote. Our democracy works best when every eligible citizen can participate freely and fairly.
Please stand up for voting rights and ensure that all Americans—regardless of race, gender, socioeconomic status, or military status—have a voice in our democracy.
