No Charlie Kirk Day

To: Rep. Smith, Gov. DeSantis, Sen. Brodeur

From: A verified voter in Casselberry, FL

December 7

No Charlie Kirk day. As a full time resident, born and raised in Florida, and a voting constituent, I am vehemently against the establishment of a Charlie Kirk Day. This man has no ties to Florida and it makes no sense for our Florida government to consider honoring him. He has not done anything to further the support, protection, or conservation of Florida. He did not live here. He did not go to school here. Floridians have no need to honor him and doing so would be a blatant push by our Florida government to try to get in the good graces of the federal government for selfish and personal reasons. It makes no sense other than to further your individual standing and further your own careers. It does nothing to honor or listen to your Florida constituents. Do not vote to establish a Charlie Kirk day.
