President Trump has announced via executive order a plan to open 30,000 beds in Guantanamo Bay to hold migrants. Make no mistake, this is a concentration camp. As one of your constituents, I need you to stop this from happening, immediately. We all know how this will turn out, and how badly it will go. There needs to be a firm halt to this plan, and any plans for concentration camps from the Trump administration. This is how it begins, and it will get worse from here. Any quarter given here will lead to abuses that will cost human lives. As someone who has voted for you in the past but will not vote for you in the future if this happens, you must take all legal recourse possible to ensure that the Executive Order is shut down. No funding, no deals, no halfway points. We cannot and will not send people to concentration camps. Ever.
