The state must drop all charges against Veronika Rodriguez, a rape survivor who came forward, and is now being prosecuted for reporting a crime! How is that okay??? Veronika bravely came forward to report her sexual assault in the military, but instead of finding justice, she was wrongfully arrested and charged with filing a false report and wiretapping by the Fort Indiantown Gap Police. Her courage was met with disbelief and accusations, turning her from a victim into a suspect. What was already a deeply traumatic experience became an even greater nightmare, one that her family has struggled to navigate emotionally and financially. The state must drop all charges and the gag order against this woman and allow her to begin to recover from this horrific situation, one that nobody should have to endure. Do the right thing.
