Stop Trump's Taxpayer-Funded Vanity Projects and Address Real Crises

To: Rep. DelBene, Pres. Trump, Sen. Cantwell, Sen. Murray

From: A verified voter in Bothell, WA

April 30

I need you to take immediate action to stop the taxpayer-funded vanity branding projects coming out of this administration and refocus government resources on the actual crises facing Americans. While people are dying from preventable measles outbreaks, farmers are taking their own lives, and veterans are being displaced, this administration is spending $50,000 per portrait banner in violation of federal law. Trump is renaming the Kennedy Center after himself, slapping his face on national park passes, and proposing bills for his image on currency. He's announced Trump-class battleships with no congressional approval or funding, created a so-called Institute of Peace while bombing a girls' school in Iran, and is branding everything from prescription drugs to citizenship itself. This is not governance. This is compulsive territorial marking by someone more concerned with legacy than leadership. Renee Good was shot without consequences. We're in an unconstitutional war. The Epstein files remain hidden. The economy has stalled and prices keep rising. These are the issues that demand your attention and action. Block any legislation that enables this narcissistic branding. Investigate the illegal spending on portraits and propaganda. Redirect those resources to veterans, farmers, and public health. Do your job.
