The way to strengthen democracy is by strengthening the American dream.— Make housing affordable for the working and middle classes. — Ensure that college is easily affordable. No parent should have to choose which child can pursue higher education. —Healthcare is high quality, easily affordable, and accessible to all. Those things are basics that ensure both personal and societal growth. Also, while the Republicans are arguing about how high to drive the deficit, so they can give their billionaire friends a $375,000+ tax cut, and correspondingly cut Medicaid, the ACA, and Snap for working class folks —why don’t Dems put together their own budget reconciliation bill that they can then tout both now and during the mid-terms and presidential elections. This is what WE want for the country for the people. Thanks for your consideration.
