It has become very clear since the start of Israel’s genocide that your votes belong solely to your donors, and in the past few weeks as you have voted to diminish First and Fourth Amendment rights, it has become even clearer that your goal is to stay in power and not to actually govern. I have written your office countless messages over the past few years, along with many other constituents. Each and every time my messages are ignored or I receive some half-baked copy paste response about a random issue you’ve also done nothing for. Since the only thing that speaks to you is money, I just want you to know, myself and many other likeminded residents of Illinois will spend the next several years going out of our way to speak with each and every single one of your donors to push them to divest from supporting you, we will campaign for anyone opposing you - even if it’s a Republican, and we will take every opportunity to remind the voters of Illinois how much money you have accepted to avoid doing your job. I know this message, like the countless others you receive, will end up in the trash, but rest assured, constantly sending money to fund a genocide, tearing away American rights, and trying to ban TikTok and screw over the thousands of small businesses in Illinois that relied on it to survive will impact your ability to be reelected again.
