URGENT: Protect ACA Premium Subsidies Now

To: Sen. Warnock, Sen. Ossoff

From: A verified voter in Lilburn, GA

November 5

As a concerned constituent from Lilburn, GA, I urge you to hold the line and firmly oppose any measure that would lead to the expiration or reduction of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) premium subsidies. These subsidies are critical for the health and financial security of millions of Americans, including many in Georgia. They represent the difference between affording quality health insurance and being forced to go without, having helped reduce the uninsured rate to historic lows. The immediate consequences of ending these subsidies would be severe: Dramatically higher monthly premiums, creating an immense financial burden on middle- and lower-income families. Loss of coverage for those who find the increased costs unaffordable, leading them to join the uninsured. Economic instability as the spike in healthcare costs drains family budgets. I request that you use your influence to make this funding permanent. At minimum, you must reject any deal that does not include the full continuation of these vital financial supports. Protecting these subsidies is essential for maintaining the stability of our healthcare system and fulfilling the obligation to provide accessible healthcare for all Americans. I will be closely monitoring your actions.
