We didn’t vote for Elon Musk

To: Sen. Markey, Rep. Clark, Sen. Warren

From: A constituent in Malden, MA

February 3

On Friday Elon Musk was got access to the government's payment systems, intentionally shutting off access to Medicaid payment portals across many states and accessing private information about every American. Next, he raided the Office of Personnel Management, sending out an illegal "buyout" email to federal workers that was eerily similar to the email Twitter workers received when he took over. He's installed his cronies - in many cases interns with little to no business or government experience - in all of these organizations including the government IT office, the GSA. Just this morning we learned he accessed classified material while raiding a USAID office. Where does it stop? In my opinion this is an illegal action. The American public didn’t vote for Elon and we certainly don’t want him circumventing congress. We would appreciate a more vocal stance and legal action taken against this. Thank you.
