I'm writing to urge you to take immediate steps to ensure that FEMA funds previously appropriated by Congress are disbursed to all states without delay and that the BRIC program is fully reinstated. It is unacceptable that funds for at least 19 states have been withheld since early February, despite court orders. Withholding FEMA funds and cancelling BRIC leaves Americans in harm's way. Thank you for your time and consideration.
