As a check on the executive branch, you must not remain silent while falsehoods shape our foreign policy. Your duty is to the truth and to the people you represent. I urge you to demand immediate public hearings, declassify the flawed intelligence used to justify these hostilities, and leverage the power of the purse to cut off funding for this endless war. The time for passive compliance is over. We need courageous leaders who speak truth to power.
