I am writing to demand immediate, comprehensive federal legislation to protect the fundamental rights of all citizens as free and independent individuals. Specifically, I urge you to introduce and pass legislation that explicitly criminalizes reproductive slavery, coercive control, and any form of state, organizational, or extremist surveillance designed to monitor, restrict, or force reproductive outcomes. We are born free individuals with the absolute, inalienable right to say no. Forcing any person into pregnancy or childbirth through coercion, surveillance, or institutional pressure is a profound violation of human dignity. This legislation must establish the following federal protections and criminal charges: • Criminalize Coercive Control: Legislate "coercive control"—the use of intimidation, surveillance, psychological abuse, tracking, and financial or physical isolation to control an individual's personal choices—as a severe, prosecutable federal offense, especially when used to dictate reproductive outcomes. • Abolish Reproductive Slavery: Explicitly define and ban "reproductive slavery" under federal law. No government agency, private organization, or extremist group should ever have the legal or technological authority to treat a woman's body as property or a tool for state-mandated reproduction. • Ban Reproductive Surveillance: Prohibit any government entity, commercial corporation, or private organization from tracking, monitoring, or collecting data on individuals' reproductive health, cycles, or choices. Surveillance of citizens' bodies is an authoritarian overreach that violates the core principles of liberty. Our founding principles dictate that the government exists to protect individual rights, not to strip them away or allow outside organizations to monitor and micro-manage our private lives. I urge you to take a stand for true individual independence and introduce strict, prosecutable penalties for anyone attempting to enforce reproductive coercion.
