The United States government must act swiftly to return Kilmar Abrego Garcia from El Salvador and afford him due process under the law. As confirmed by federal courts, including the Supreme Court, Abrego Garcia's deportation to El Salvador was illegal and a violation of his rights. There is no evidence that he has committed any crime or is affiliated with criminal organizations, as acknowledged by the presiding judge who found the allegations against him to be unsubstantiated. Continued detainment without due process erodes the fundamental principles of justice and rule of law. Facilitating Abrego Garcia's prompt return to the United States is necessary to uphold constitutional protections and demonstrate accountability to judicial orders. Failure to do so undermines the integrity of the legal system and sets a concerning precedent of disregarding court rulings.
