Reject Anti-Vaxxer for HHS Head, Protect Public Health
To: Sen. Hagerty, Sen. Blackburn
From: A constituent in Franklin, TN
November 17
I strongly urge opposition to confirming Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as head of the Department of Health and Human Services. Kennedy has repeatedly spread dangerous misinformation about vaccines and expressed support for debunked conspiracy theories linking vaccines to autism. Kennedy has a long history of heroin abuse and a brain worm, significantly impairing his judgment and cognition. Putting an anti-vaxxer in charge of public health policy would be disastrous and erode trust in lifesaving vaccines. As a prominent figure, Kennedy's unscientific views could embolden the anti-vaccine movement and lead to declining vaccination rates, putting children and immunocompromised people at greater risk of preventable diseases. For the safety of all Americans, someone who rejects well-established vaccine science must not be confirmed to lead HHS.
