Stand with the Supreme Court—Protect Due Process

To: Rep. Neal, Sen. Warren, Sen. Markey

From: A constituent in Westfield, MA

April 19

I’m writing to express my strong support for the Supreme Court’s recent decision to block the misuse of the Alien Enemies Act to deport foreign nationals. This ruling was a critical affirmation of constitutional protections, due process, and the principle that no administration should be allowed to weaponize outdated laws for political or discriminatory purposes. I urge you to respect and uphold the spirit of this decision. Any attempt to undermine it, or to retaliate against the Justices who upheld it, would be an attack on our democratic values and the rule of law. Instead, I encourage you to work toward modernizing immigration policy in ways that reflect compassion, fairness, and the legal protections guaranteed to all. This moment demands courage and clarity. I hope you choose to stand on the side of justice and constitutional integrity.
