I’m writing to urge you to oppose the Trump administration’s attacks on immigrants and citizens who look like they may be immigrants. It's been reported that individuals entering the country have been targeted, bullied, and their phones scrutinized. If they do not like this regime and Mr. Trump, they are threatened. I ask that you conduct public oversight investigations into the conduct of ICE agents, conditions of detention facilities, and whether citizens are being threatened. Inappropriate targeting and ICE raids are terrorizing communities across the country, violating due process rights, and subjecting innocent people to extremely inhumane treatment. I expect you to hold this administration accountable for its authoritarian tactics. Thank you for your time and consideration.
