Censorship didn't stop my assaulter. Stop passing feel-good censorship bills.

To: Sen. Warnock, Rep. Carter, Sen. Ossoff

From: A constituent in Hinesville, GA

January 29

Child marriages, poverty, ICE raids, censorship, gun violence and lack of good healthcare are the true threats to children. Yet Congress continues to consider up to 25 bills to control the internet and social media use, along with criminalization of free expression. Countries like France are enacting bills to force age verification on adults and kids alike, but children can be married off at age 13 and forcibly impregnated. The Heritage Foundation seems to condone the actions of Elon Musk but stigmatizes sex work and fictional sexual expression. AI is a threat also, but Congress keeps poisoning anti-AI efforts by trying to bypass the Miller test with bills like IODA and the SCREEN Act. My sexual assault could have been prevented with the resources that are still being diverted to punish books, movies, films, and fictional expression. Book vans and AV didn't protect me from being assaulted. Enough is enough. Stop supporting bills like KOSA.
