Restore access to Constitutional principles and historical information online immediately
The Trump administration's revamped White House website has temporarily removed pages explaining the Constitution, Bill of Rights, and information about former presidents from both parties. This is deeply troubling. The White House has stated that this was unintended and they are committed to restoring that archived content in the near future. Some may say this is an oversight during the website transition rather than an intentional removal of Constitutional principles or historical information. However, given the administration’s disregard for things like habeas corpus, the Supreme Court’s decisions, and the laws of our country, this seems to be a potent of further steps into a fascist dictatorship. The Constitution remains the foundational legal document of the United States government, despite its temporary absence from the website. Ensuring transparency and access to information about the nation's founding documents and leaders should be a priority as the new administration builds out its online presence.
Put pressure on the Trump administration to restore and follow the constitution and bill of rights.
