I'm writing to urge you to publicly oppose the executive order cutting the childhood vaccine schedule, and to press for oversight hearings when Congress returns. This is the worst measles year since 1991, with 2,777 cases confirmed by CDC. Alabama kindergarten measles coverage just fell to 94.3 percent, below the 95 percent needed to stop measles from spreading. The childhood schedule should be set by doctors and evidence, not by executive order. Please stand up for Alabama kids and families.
