As a registered Democrat in Queens who votes in every single election I implore you to vote against the house-passed DHS/ICE funding bill. I am beyond outraged, disgusted, and ashamed that my hard earned tax money is funding unconstitutional and inhumane hunting down of people of color to th row them into for-profit prisons. ICE needs to stop terrorizing our neighborhoods, stop shooting people, stop making our schools unsafe for our children. This thug regime needs to be abolished (NOT TRAINED BETTER) and I don't want one PENNY more of my tax dollars funding their atrocities. YOUR JOBS ARE ON THE LINE. For once, hold fast and don't cave. We will vote you out if you stand for this to appease your donors. NO MORE FUNDING FOR ICE.
