Stop arming Saudi Arabia and the UAE to stop the Sudan genocide.

Sudan is facing an ongoing genocide and crimes against humanity perpetrated by the genocidal regime. The arming and enabling of this brutal dictatorship through lucrative weapons sales must end immediately. I urge you to co-sponsor Rep. Ilhan Omar's joint resolution to block the proposed $582 million arms sale to Saudi Arabia and $85 million sale to the United Arab Emirates. These nations have directly fueled the violence and atrocities in Sudan by violating arms embargoes and arming governmental forces accused of war crimes. As Rep. Omar stated, "It is simply unconscionable to sell weapons to Saudi Arabia while they continue to kill and torture dissidents and support modern-day slavery." This legislation is a vital step towards accountability, human rights, and ending the horrific genocide in Sudan.
