Investigate President Donald Trump’s potential violations of the 14th Amendment

To: Sen. Bennet, Sen. Hickenlooper, Rep. Pettersen

From: A verified voter in Lakewood, CO

March 26

First, I want to thank you for your service. I am proud you represent me. I deeply appreciate your leadership, integrity, courage, and commitment during these challenging times. I understand that an investigation into former President Donald Trump’s potential violations of the 14th Amendment is underway. Please support this and my voice to this call for accountability. I am aware of the encrypted messaging platform, Signal, and as we all know, these platforms are designed to be virtually impenetrable—used specifically when individuals want to avoid public or governmental scrutiny. If the reported meeting on Signal was not a war planning session, then why did the bombing of Yemen occur shortly thereafter? The timing is not coincidental. It appears that officials may be attempting to cover their tracks, and the American people are no longer willing to be misled. We see the truth, and we demand transparency. I also urge Congress to take immediate steps to protect journalist Mr. Goldwater. In cases like these, we have seen voices silenced and people conveniently disappear. This would be a grave injustice and a chilling attack on press freedom. It is time for Congress to step forward boldly, not only to defend the Constitution, but also to defend those who risk everything to reveal the truth. Thank you again for standing up for the rule of law. Please continue to lead with the strength and integrity that you have always shown.
