President-elect Trump has announced that pedophile Matt Gaetz is his pick for Attorney General of the United States. The fact that he hasn’t been expelled from Congress for ethics violations is absurd by itself, but to elevate this … person … to the office of Attorney General would be completely farcical. I’m old enough to remember when the appearance of impropriety was enough to keep someone out of high office. I vividly recall that when a photograph of a senator _pretending_ to behave inappropriately ended that senator’s career. Matt Gaetz has been credibly accused of multiple counts of statutory rape. Confirming him as Attorney General is unthinkable—or would be in a world where we didn’t elect a criminal, a rapist, and a traitor to the office of President. Back in school they taught us that America was the greatest nation on earth; that we believe in truth and justice; that integrity matters here. Let’s hold America to that standard and keep Matt Gaetz out of the Attorney General’s office. Thank you.
