It is deeply concerning that the President's budget proposal drastically cuts funding for critical programs like FEMA's emergency management while allocating $300 million to cover his personal golf trips at his own resorts. As a taxpaying citizen, I find it unacceptable that our government would jeopardize essential services and public safety in order to subsidize the President's frequent luxury vacations. Disasters like hurricanes, wildfires, and other emergencies do not discriminate based on political affiliation - all of our communities rely on FEMA's preparedness and response capabilities. Slashing this funding puts lives at risk while lining the President's pockets with public money. I urge you to reject this misguided budget that prioritizes presidential indulgence over the wellbeing of the American people. Our nation deserves better stewardship of its resources and a government that serves the interests of its citizens rather than engaging in blatant self-dealing. Please do the right thing and demand a budget that adequately funds vital programs without catering to excessive presidential perks and expenditures.
