According to the Washington Post: The Trump administration is ordering the removal of information on slavery at multiple national parks in an effort to scrub them of “corrosive ideology.” THIS IS AMERICA’S HISTORY NOT CORROSIVE IDEOLOGY. Congress should NOT allow the white-washing of OUR history. It is DEEPLY offensive and will prevent the lessons of our past in influencing a better future. I understand that the Trump administration is basically a right-wing racist regime, but Congress should at least attempt to counteract this.
