I’m a retired Army Master Sergeant and retired Department of Defense civilian. My husband, now over 65, relies on Medicare. I was promised health care for life when I served this country, and that promise has been broken.
With the shutdown, veterans and families like mine are being pushed out of the system. No VA, no military facilities, and now Medicare is under attack. We have nowhere else to go.
You ran on “releasing the Epstein files.” Cute. How about running on keeping your promises to veterans and fully funding health care for Americans instead of protecting billionaires?
I served my country for over 20 years. I expect my elected leaders to serve the people — not the wealthiest few. Do your job.
