NO to Mike Lee's amendment 3972. Hands off our national parks.

To: Rep. Golden, Sen. Collins, Sen. King

December 21

Say NO to Mike Lee's Senator Mike Lee has introduced Amendment #3972. This is a proposal that would remove legislative language that protects the existence of our national parks as nationally important places. If this amendment passes, it sends a clear message to the White House: It's okay to sell off America's national parks to the highest bidder. This is not just a policy change. It's a betrayal. A crass and dishonest statement wicked betrayal of a promise made to every American —that these places will be preserved for future generations. From the battlefields of the American Revolution to the seashores where families gather every summer, parks are part of who we are as a nation. They are not for sale. This is not the first time Lee has sought to undermine and privatise our national lands. They are a sacred legacy that we hold in trust for future generations. Reject 3972 and tell Lee to keep his hands off. We've had enough of his attempts to assault and betray our national lands
