This bill would expand surveillance of all Americans across all technology platforms, threatening our constitutional ri We don't need more government monitoring of our digital lives. HR 8250 would give agencies sweeping access to everything we do online: who we speak to, t hat websites we visit, etc. This kind of mess surveillance has never been shown to make us safer, but it does make us less free. The 4th amendment exists for a reason. America is supposed to be a democracy whose citizens have a right to privacy. Unchecked governmental power to search and monitor citizens is incompatible with a free society. HR 8250 moves us ever closer to authoritarian regime Stand up for us and help stop this before it starts
