Reassert and affirm our loyalty to NATO Reclaim the rightful constitutionally enshrined powers of Congress from Trump's dangerous usurpation The war in Iran has been an unmitigated disaster for loss of life, war crimes, costs and now a disastrously bad settlement. Read Senator Bill Cassidy: "Reagan is rolling over in his grave. Iran's nuclear ambitions were not curbed, and they have learned that threatening the Strait of Hormuz works and will undoubtedly leverage it in the future. Now, Iran gets to build brand-new infrastructure under this deal. Before the war, the strait was open, Iran was being crushed by sanctions, and 13 service members were still alive. Now, 13 Americans are dead, families have paid billions at the pump, sanctions will be lifted, and the bombing has stopped. This is the worst foreign policy blunder in decades." Hegseth has deserved impeachment since Signalgate. His illegal no quarter orders and double tap strikes, in the Caribbean as well as Iran, his orders for the destruction of civilian targets, his inflammatory rhetoric, racist animus and erratic rhetoric and conduct show him to be unfit. He has not just botched the war in Iran. He has made us less safe globally. Trump's high crimes and misdemeanors related to every area of his activity not just the Iran war are increasing by the day. And are manifestly impeachable. (Every day that Congress fails to impeach him for violating court orders and the constitution is a failure of your oaths.) Trump's decisions about Iran were flawed and sometimes equated to war crimes. He is now visibly unable to stay awake in briefing meetings or to analyse information presented to him. His intellectual lack of capacity to strategise as commander in chief is alarming and ever present. He has no business sending Americans into battle. He lacks the intellectual capacity to even speak coherently and accurately about simple topics now. Why is this aging mentally incompetent felon still in the situation room? And if he is incapable, then who has (illegally) been making decisions for him? Our place in the NATO alliance is essential. The ignorant and disparaging remarks that Trump and sometimes Vance, Rubio, and Hegseth make about it are damaging and imprudent. We've all seen how Trump sides with Putin Xi and looks set to betray US interests and the interests of our allies. Again and again. The rumour that Russia and Netanyahu have Epstein file compromat on Trump appears likely. Why else would he do their bidding? Congress needs to stop this catastrophe before another disastrous war of choice. Please impeach and then remove Trump and Hegseth. And speak out to support our alliance with NATO. Educate your colleagues to remember that NATO is a defensive alliance
