To What’s Left of a Free America,
We are no longer operating under the illusion of democracy. This is the Trump regime—unaccountable, cruel, and emboldened. The incident involving Senator Alex Padilla—an open act of racial intimidation and political terror—marks yet another step in this administration’s descent into fascism. And it should terrify every one of us.
Donald Trump is not a president. He is a strongman, hellbent on dismantling every democratic safeguard for the sake of his own ego and power. From the attacks on peaceful protestors, to the purging of political enemies, to the outright celebration of violence, he governs through fear and division. This latest attack on Senator Padilla is not an outlier—it is policy by threat.
And Kristi Noem? She is a grotesque symbol of everything this regime represents. Her gleeful violence, her shameless self-promotion, her alignment with extremism—all of it makes her unfit for public service and a clear danger to civil society.
This is not a call for civility. This is a call for resistance. For defiance. For action.
We demand:
• The immediate impeachment and arrest of Donald J. Trump for crimes against the Constitution and people of the United States.
• The immediate firing and disqualification of Kristi Noem and any public official engaged in violent rhetoric or policy.
• A public, federal investigation into the Padilla incident, and legal consequences for those responsible.
If Congress won’t act, the people must. If the courts won’t intervene, we must. The stakes are not hypothetical—they are existential.
This regime must fall. Silence is not neutrality—it is betrayal.
