We have now seen video footage of two American citizens gunned down without cause in our streets. The administration, the DHS, and ICE are completely out of control, and we are in a moment that demands heroic action by congress to deescalate tensions in our nation and hold the administration accountable. I am appreciative to the fact that Democrats have a minority at the moment, and that even Republicans who speak out against the administration are harassed to the point of sometimes receiving threats against their lives. But now that the administration is sponsoring unchecked execution of American citizens there are no opportunities to avoid the situation. Funding for ICE needs to be eliminated. Congress must move to impeach and remove the president. The masks need to come off ICE. The Secretary of Homeland Security must be impeached. All supporting actors in the administration and related government agencies need to be held accountable.
