Please Vote NO on H.R. 1 – The “Big Beautiful Bill” Fails Working Americans
To: Sen. Ossoff, Sen. Warnock
From: A constituent in Jesup, GA
June 21
I’m writing as a concerned constituent to strongly urge you to vote NO on H.R. 1, the so-called “One Big Beautiful Bill.”
While this legislation claims to support working families, the reality is that it disproportionately benefits the wealthiest Americans and corporations—at the direct expense of the rest of us.
This bill:
• Permanently extends tax cuts for the top 1%, while offering minimal relief to middle- and lower-income families
• Slashes essential safety net programs like Medicaid and SNAP
• Weakens access to affordable student loans and Pell Grants
• Increases the national debt by trillions with little long-term economic benefit
Instead of helping hardworking Americans, H.R. 1 gives more handouts to billionaires, undermines public services, and pushes the burden onto future generations.
We deserve legislation that invests in healthcare, education, housing, and real economic opportunity—not another tax giveaway for the ultra-wealthy.
Please protect your constituents. Say NO to H.R. 1.
