The recent revelations about Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth's use of an unsecured internet line and the Signal messaging app to discuss sensitive military operations are deeply concerning. This reckless behavior jeopardized national security and put the lives of U.S. service members at risk. It demonstrates a lack of judgment and disregard for proper protocols that is unacceptable for someone in such a high position of leadership over our armed forces. I urge you to call for Hegseth's immediate resignation. Our brave men and women in uniform deserve leadership they can trust to safeguard classified information and make decisions that prioritize their safety above all else. Hegseth's actions have eroded that trust and undermined military readiness. He can no longer effectively lead the Department of Defense. For the sake of protecting our troops and national security interests, he must step down without delay. Holding him accountable sends a clear message that this administration will not tolerate such egregious violations of protocol, no matter one's position. Our military deserves leadership committed to fulfilling its sacred duty to keep our citizens, service members and national interests secure. I implore you to take decisive action to restore confidence by demanding Hegseth's resignation.
