Please do your job as a human being and a person in power. Fight for Gaza and take a stand for Palestine’s liberation.
The two million people trapped in Gaza are experiencing a famine right now because of the total blockade. A globally funded ship full of activists and aid headed to Gaza was just targeted in a drone attack while still in international waters; as I’m writing this, I don’t know if any of those activists survived. Over 300 journalists have been killed; this is now the deadliest recorded conflict for journalists. Apparently war crimes are fine now and human rights mean nothing? Not to mention hospitals, schools and aid workers targeted and massacred. There is no medicine, no anesthesia for the rudimentary surgeries they are able to perform in bombed-out hospitals; no infrastructure, no safe places left in Gaza for the tens of thousands of children starving there, living in fear, listening to bombing and shooting every night. Entire families, including a 4 month old, are being burned alive in their tents in camps in these bombings. Cranes and bulldozers have been targeted so the only way to dig people out of the rubble is with bare hands. Everyone in Gaza has lost someone or been injured, and witnessed countless traumas and tragedies. Countless people have been injured and permanently disabled. Dozens die daily; on April 28, about 50 people were killed in bombings, many of them children. And each day, the situation gets worse.
We can’t continue to fund these atrocities. Support an arms embargo and divestment from Israel. Send aid to the starving civilians in Gaza. Free Palestine.
Thank you.
