Investigate Musk's DOGE team's data access, protect voter rights

To: Pres. Trump, Rep. McBride, Sen. Coons, Sen. Blunt Rochester

From: A constituent in Newark, DE

April 15

There are valid concerns about Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) team having inappropriate access to sensitive government data and systems. Recent reports indicate a DOGE staffer working at the Social Security Administration has been pushing dubious voter fraud claims, potentially using data they should not have accessed. This raises troubling questions about DOGE's intentions and adherence to privacy laws. As a private citizen embedded in federal agencies, Musk lacks public accountability and oversight. His team's unrestrained data access and unfounded allegations of noncitizens voting en masse are undermining trust in democratic processes. Such actions by an unelected billionaire threaten the integrity of government operations. I urge you to investigate these allegations thoroughly and take appropriate measures to protect Americans' personal data and voting rights from misuse. DOGE's far-reaching authority and lack of transparency are cause for serious concern. Reining in Musk's overreach and safeguarding government systems from exploitation for political aims should be a top priority.
