Condemn the HHS report titled "Where the Clinic Meets the Movement: Does Gender Ideology Arm Left-Wing Authoritarian Psychology?" It is not science. It is a politically commissioned hit piece designed to paint trans people and their allies as violent extremists, and it deserves to be called out by name. The study's methodology is rigged from the start. It measured "support for political violence" by asking only about left-wing targets — killing Charlie Kirk, killing Donald Trump, arson of ICE buildings — while omitting every right-wing instance of political violence from its survey entirely. Its five authors include a Manhattan Institute fellow who was rebuked by a Montana court for misgendering the plaintiffs he was analyzing, and co-founders of the Network Contagion Research Institute, which has published reports accusing the Democratic Socialists of America of being a foreign actor. The Lemkin Institute for Genocide Prevention has issued repeated red flag alerts warning that the U.S. is in the early stages of a trans genocide — yet this study frames belief in that risk as evidence of radicalization. This is the same playbook the HHS used when its gender-affirming care report triggered federal Medicaid and Medicare crackdowns and attempts to seize trans children's medical records. The pattern is clear: manufacture a threat, legitimize it with fake research, then escalate. Speak out against this report publicly and on the record. Trans people and their allies are watching who stays silent.
