As your constituent I ask you to help block the White House's proposed rule making scientific grants subject to political approval. This would fundamentally reshape the way science in America is done and would force truth to be secondary to ideology. This is worse than McCarthy-era xenophobia; it's the sort of thing one would expect from Soviet Russia at its worst. The regime has already done irreparable harm to the US position on the world stage, we must not allow them to make it worse.
