We are extremely concerned about the Project Jupiter Data Center and Blackstone’s continuing attempt to buy PNM, likely with powering another data center in mind. These are private equity companies whose history shows their only interest is in exploiting resources for shareholder profits. Data centers would use huge amounts of water and power, ultimately leaving our state poorer and resource-drained. Please support your colleagues Rep. Hochman-Vigil and Rep. Cates on passing a moratorium on data centers. Thank you!
